Tru Earth makes its first sale through the ecommerce platform
After discovering that the power of a jug of laundry detergent could be concentrated into a very small package, we decided to take this discovery to market. After launching our site in 2019, we set a goal to sell 150 subscriptions of laundry eco-strips in 30 days. By the end of 30 days, we had 1500 changemakers subscribe to our sustainable laundry solution.

Just 12 months after outpacing our meager goal of 150 subscribers, we were named Fastest Growing CPG Startup in 2020.

SET A COMPANY RECORD FOR PLASTIC JUGS ELIMINATED AND LOADS DONATED
As our outreach grew, we took our mission to help the planet even further by donating loads of laundry and tracking the number of plastic jugs eliminated. By April of 2022, we donated over 11 million loads of laundry and eliminated over 100 million plastic jugs.

By October 2022, we successfully eliminated over 100 million plastic jugs from entering landfills and reducing plastic waste. Our changemakers began adopting more planet friendly choices, so the true impact expanded even further.
B-Corp Certification
In April 2023, our transformative social and environmental impact was officially and globally recognized when we obtained one of the most profound certifications a business can obtain, the B-Corp Certification. This means we meet the highest of standards both internally as an organization and globally with our positive impact.

OUR COMMITMENT
Through our Tru Clean initiative, we're not just cleaning clothes; we're cleaning the path towards a brighter, greener world for all. By 2027, we're committed to keeping 600 million plastic laundry jugs out of landfills and oceans and providing 100 million loads of laundry to those in need. We're actively making more impactful partnerships with organizations like Ocean Wise's Shoreline Cleanup to remove plastic waste from our oceans. As we move forward, we'll continue innovating sustainable products for homes and helping those in need, guided by our Clean Mandate that envisions clean laundry as a universal human right.
